In 2021 we eliminated virgin polyester from our supply chain entirely. We use recycled polyester to make our swimwear and fleece products. By sourcing recycled polyester Piping Hot can reuse plastic waste and save energy. The process also conserves water.

Piping Hot is certified to the Textile Exchange’s Global Recycling Standard (GRS), the global standard to verify that fibres are made with post-consumer plastic bottles and other recycled materials.

Products certified to GRS contain verified recycled content and have met social, environmental and chemical requirements from the recycler to the finished product.
